Life & Death, in Garland Magazine

My essay for the exhibition Life & Death, curated by Dale Hardiman and Tom Skeehan of Friends & Associates for Melbourne Design Week 2020, has been republished in Garland Magazine.

Overshadowed by the COVID19 crisis unfolding daily during Melbourne Design Week, this excellent exhibition presented the works of Australian designers thinking about the life, death and circularity of products and materials. It’s worth a look. My essay considered how the design of a product life is more important than the design of a product form.
